Ash has the hardest time when I wash what's left of her blanket. I wash it on the shortest cycle possible , but still it is too long for her to be away. She has to see it washing several times, and then when it's drying she has to keep checking it. As soon as its slightly warm, she yanks it out and starts smelling and sucking her thumb.
This is her BB. It use to be the corner of a nice sized crib blanket. We have to take this thing everywhere. Luckily it will fit in my purse. This picture was taken during the washing cycle. She took the chair into the wash room, lifted up the lid and dug out her corner just to make sure it was ok. Sometimes she will take the chair into the room and just wait. She has fallen asleep many times by the washer waiting for her corner.
This is what she loves to do the very most. Yes the blanket is still soaking wet but she don't care.

I have never seen a blanket so loved before. Landen still carries his blanket all over the place and he is almost 4. There is hole in it where he has to stick his finger in when he goes to sleep.

I love that her BB keeps getting smaller and smaller.. LOL. She is SO cute! I just wonder what your going to do when that BB is completely gone?? She is going to have some major withdrawals...

Nice pictures Brooke. Did you also have a blanket you were attached to? Mine, or what is left of it, is packed away in a box somewhere.
Every time you write something about thumb-sucking it makes me laugh. It must be something that runs in your family's genes on your mom's side. More than one of you girls (and cousins) suck the old thumb - even to this day.
It's funny, cute, and kind of sad that she falls asleep waiting for the blanket. Almost wish you didn't have to wash it, but I'm sure it is a must.
