Okay so what good does a spare key do if it's up hunting with Randy?? Not much! Today I was at my mom's house we were getting ready to go, I sent the kids out to the car so I could round everything up and leave. While I am trying to get everything together, Ash ( my little darling) is out in the car honking like crazy. Bennett comes in all stressed out cause she is going to ruin our honker ( his exact words) . So I go out there as Ash is shutting the door. She has this big smile on her face and she says, " Ha ha I locked your car, so you can't get in." Sure enough, she locked the doors, with the keys inside. So me, being the mom of the year, spanked her butt. She laughs and says that didn't hurt, so I spanked her again, and again she says that didn't hurt either. So I gave her a LOVE tap with my foot, she says, GEES what was that for?? UGGGGG!! Will she ever get it? So my car is sitting at my mom's and she is now 1 car short! Thanks mom!! Can I tell you it has been a really long week. I can not wait until I have my husband back. Good news is he shot is ELK, and he is very happy about it. Bad news is I'm sure its gonna have to be hung up on our wall somewhere, unless I can talk him into hanging it in the garage. Hopefully he will be home soon, we are going on a week and its killing us! For Ashtyn's sake he better be home soon!!

"Gee, what was that for?" Pretty funny when it's not you're own kid, but oh the frustration, I hope the honker still works!
ha ha ha ha
I would go crazy without Joe's help.
I would be on the count down.
Don't kids judt do the darndest things. I am glad that your mom was willing to part with her car for you, and good luck with the fight over the elk. I hope you win!
HAHA That sounds familiar!!!!
I am so glad we can blog about these moments then later on they don't seem so bad.
Oh my goodness. What a little trouble maker. I hope Randy comes home soon. I also hope you don't end up with an elk on your wall.
Classic story! GOOD LUCK! :)
That story is so funny! My brother in law got his elk this year too and my sister thought it was going in my dad's cabin until he informed her it was going to go in their living room. Good luck!
Don't we all have days like this! Moments like these are fun to have as memories...especially if you can laugh about them later.
Hey! We both get to have animal carcass adorning our walls! Freakin' awesome isn't it?! lol. That's funny. Hopefully Randy will hang it in the garage. And I don't know what to tell you about Ashton. Maybe we ought to lock her and Haydyn up together and let them torture one another so they get a taste of their own medicine!
What a little stinker! She cracks me up. Your in for a lot of fun with her for sure! Congrats to Randy! I wonder where he will want to put his trophy?
I would lose it if my kids sat there and taunted me like that. Oh I would want to make it hurt just so they would learn, but it doesn't really seem like they do. Good times!
