Rampage tournament.

We had a soccer tournament last weekend. It was so much fun. The boys did awesome. They ended up taking second place. They should have taken first but had some unlucky plays etc.. It is so much fun to be able to go and watch the kids play in these tournament. We had one parent get a red card and kicked out ( no it wasn't me). It's amazing the emotions you feel as a parent watching. I was so nervous I couldn't sit still, my heart was pounding, etc. Doesn't he look so freaking cute in his uniform?? I think so! He scored a few goals, and played his little guts out. We were very proud of him. Good job buddy, we love you!

Fireworks!

I have been slacking, Well not slacking just busy and haven't had time to post all the fun things we have been doing. So I am going to try and catch up.

Not to long after the 4th we went to my sister's house and watched the Clinton city fireworks. We really couldn't see them very good, but it was fun to get together and let the kids run around. We were laughing cause the kids sat for about 30 minutes waiting for the fire works to start, then when they did start it was just the adults watching. We had a good time.

These two are such good friends, it's so cute to watch them play and interact. I love to sit and listen to their conversation's , they are funny. They are always in to something.

We had a lot of fun. We always do when our families get together. It's so nice to live so close to each other. 13 Little kids running around, 11 adults having 4 different conversations . Its great!

Saturdays!

Don't ya just love this outfit Kobe is sporting?? He is in his underwear, wearing my lifting gloves, with Ashtyn's head band in his hair. What a geek. He loves to lay around on Saturday's and watch cartoons.

This was Bennett's outfit for the day. We went to the Roy pool these last few days and I bought him some goggles. Well he has been wearing them every since. As you can tell he is not happy with getting his picture taken. I couldn't stop laughing and it made him mad cause he thought he looked so cool. You can tell they are really tight cause the goggles are all foggy by his eyes. They make us laugh. There is never a dull moment in the Carlson household.

Front Runner to the Gateway

Thursday Shay, Brady and their kids. Myself and my kids took the front runner down to the gateway. We ate lunch, went shopping, and then had a yummy treat from the chocolate factory. It was a lot of fun. This was our first time on the front runner.

We had to wait about 20 minutes to get on. I thought the kids were going to go crazy. I know I was close. We had Colton and Kobe teasing the little ones. Bennett was so excited, he thought we were going to Disneyland. I can only image the disappointment when we got to the gateway.

Shaylee and Brady's family. Minus Jaxon. He has been up camping with his grandma and grandpa all week long. It was weird not having him around, he is such a good little helper with the younger kids.

The kids loved the train ride. It was really nice and comfortable. If I had to drive to SLC everyday I would look into getting a pass. It was cool to watch the traffic on the freeway. We came home about Rush hour time, it was nice not to have to wait in traffic.

We ended this fun little excursion with a nice, cool treat from the chocolate factory. Besides the train ride, I think that was the kids favorite part. But then again, who doesn't like treats from the Chocolate Factory. We had a great time, we just wish that Randy could have joined in on all the fun. Maybe next time..

Happy 4th of July.

We had a great day. I love this holiday. The food is great, the weather is nice, sometimes to warm. The parade's, all the activities at the park are fun for the kids, Randy has the day off. And then the fireworks. Can't get much better than that! We started the day out early. 6 am in fact, so my sister and I could fit in our exercise. Then we all went to the West point parade. Which the kids love. I love these few pictures of all the kids waiting patiently on the side of the road. They could hear the parade, but not see it yet. The anticipation was getting to them bad.

My sister's and there families at the parade. Sorry Jami. Your family came and my camera was about dead. Thanks to Kobe. He likes to take pictures of random things.

After the parade we went to the West Point park. My kids loved it. There was so much to do. It was hard to keep track of everyone. We had kids going every which direction. Talk about CRAZY!!

After we spent much time at the park we went to Randy's brother's house and had a pool party. It was so nice to be able to cool off in the pool. We BBQ , played water volleyball and just hung out with everyone in the nice pool. I wish I had a picture, but once again My camera battery died. After the pool party we came home and were exhausted. We all took naps. It was nice. Then we got ready and headed up to the fireworks with my family and some friends. It has been our tradition to sit right next to the caution tape, front row. Sometimes we have to dodge all the ashes from the fireworks. It's awesome. We didn't get home until 11:30. Needless to say we were all tired. Good thing we had Saturday to recover..

This is a result from our pool party, plus the day before we had gone to the Roy Aquatic center. So Bennett got sunburn on top of a sunburn. His face was all swollen like a star trek character. I think he had too much Chlorine. I promise I put sunscreen on him. I think it was just so freaking hot that he didn't matter. He had to go all weekend without a shirt. I felt so bad.

I am 28!!

Yes it sad to say but yesterday I turned the big 28! I can't believe it. When I was little I used to think that 28 was so old. I also thought the 4th of July was for my birthday. I could never figure out why it was always 2 days after my actual birthday. Now here I am. I have had some amazing experiences in my life, I've gone to some amazing places, and meet wonderful people throughout my life. I have had some really hard times, and some really good times that I will never forget. I have a great family that loves me no matter what, and that I am truly thankful for. I had a really good day yesterday. Randy ( my wonderful husband) did everything possible to make my day special. We had a family BBQ with my family. So that meant he had to get off work early so he could prepare my favorite chicken in the world. He also cleaned the house, made some brownies, cooked some shrimp, then set up everything to party. He is AWESOME!! Thanks babe, it was great. My battery for my camera was dead when we started the BBQ, so no pictures till the end. Bummer.
Randy was so cute, he had my sister Shay go and buy me some jewelry. If you know me , you know that I am very plain and simple. I told him that I wanted to start wearing jewelry. He was afraid that he wouldn't pick out good stuff. So he had Shay be his little elf. She did a good job. I love it all. He was happy he told her she had to get big hooped earrings. He loves those, weird huh?? ha ha

He also bought me this bike. I have do to a lot of cross training on a bike and I always have to borrow my sister's bike. With the price of gas I might be using this more than I want to. Ha Ha. I love to be active and enjoy the outdoors so this was a great gift for me. Now we need to get him one so we can go on long bike rides. I love the summer, there are so many fun things to do outside.

More pictures of our BBQ. It was a lot of fun. Thanks you guys for coming and celebrating my birthday with me. Hopefully there are many more to come. I will just stop counting at 30.. Maybe by then I will have found the fountain of youth.

Ashtyn's 3 year old b-day pictures.

I know I am a month behind with the birthday pictures, but at least we got them done. Here are the results. I thought they turned out way cute. She loved every minute of it. She is truly a " princess". We love her.
